“The bed was comfy, sheets and towels were clean The room was extremely small, with a very small TV, and the bathroom was about as tiny as you could imagine. A larger person would definitely struggle to manoeuvre comfortably. Unfortunately, the cup provided was dirty and there were no complimentary toiletries, other than a basic handwash. For a two-night stay, I was initially only given two milks and two teabags. However, once I mentioned these issues to the receptionist, everything was sorted, and I have to say she was very nice and helpful. The bedside lamp also didn’t work and, while I appreciate that this is an older building, the room itself felt very dated and could certainly do with some updating. On a positive note, the location was quite good, with shops and the seafront not too far away. I understand this was budget accommodation, so I wasn’t expecting luxury, but I did expect the room and facilities to match what was advertised.”
