“The location was excellent on the Grand Palace. It was lovely to have breakfast on the square with the view of the market.The staff helpful and friendly. Nice omelette for breakfast and freshly squeezed orange juice. The room was very basic and needs updating, but it was clean. There were no pictures on the wall, and it lacked any character. The view from my window was a fire escape. Did not get any sleep as the fan was very noisy and could hear the noise from the extractor fan that was outside. Beds are hard. If you stay at this hotel I recommend that you go for a room with the view. The reception area was very shabby and not attended most of the time.”
