“The breakfast buffet was a highlight of our stay, featuring a rotating menu each day. The waitstaff were friendly and hardworking, while the cooks were attentive and accommodating. The room cleaner and housekeeping manager were very nice and attentive to details. The room facilities were visibly rundown, with loose sockets and a non-working bedside lamp. The toilet sink frequently got blocked, and the toilet roll holder was protruding from the wall. The FLC Grand caters to domestic tourists from local companies, typically accommodating those with limited budgets for short stays of 1 night. Starting in early May, guests should expect noise from large crowds beginning very early in the morning (around 5 a.m.) and packed restaurants during buffet breakfast hours (from 7 to 8 a.m.). The FLC Luxury offers a better view of the FLC beach, but it can get quite noisy and crowded from late afternoon until 10 pm due to pool parties and team-building events held at the nearby convention hall. The keycard reader with 2 tiny holes on the door needs to be replaced, as it looks awkward after the recent change from a key lock to a keycard system. The toilet and changing room near the beach were broken and smelled of urine, but the management did nothing about it. The beach at FLC was muddy in the morning but became deep and somewhat dangerous in the late afternoon when the tide came in. This was partly because their current saltwater swimming pool extended into the original coastal land, encroaching on the shoreline below the high-tide line”
