“The view from the room is good; you can see the sea and the mountains. The bedding looks clean enough (though there are still some visible stains), and the bed is comfortable. The towels actually smell nicely of fabric softener, so they seem clean. Complimentary water is provided. There is also good, free Wi-Fi in the room. That is pretty much where the pros end. The first thing you notice upon entering the room is the smell. It is either dampness or mold, and the odor is even stronger inside the wardrobe (we didn’t put our clothes in there). There is dirt everywhere, some streaks and stains on the walls, and cobwebs in the corners. The shelves clearly haven't been wiped down. The air conditioner needs cleaning. In the bathroom, the faucet is loose, and there are streaks on the walls as well. There are cockroaches. The fridge doesn't work, and its door is falling off. There are burn holes in the blanket. They only accept cash and only VND; you cannot pay by card or foreign currency. Please note that the address on Booking is incorrect (12 instead of 12c)—because of this mistake, we wasted time just trying to find the hotel. It's okay for a one- or two-night stay, but you can definitely find a better option for the same price. This hotel really dampened our first impression of Vietnam.”
