“After 5 days of visiting the country this has been the highlight of our trip. I could rave about the breathtaking view that can be appreciated from every corner of the homestay and the freedom you have to explore the surroundings. But the hospitality of See and his family overclassed this, and that is saying a lot. See contacted us timely, he and his wife came to get us from the main streets of mu cang chai on their scooters and made no problem of transporting us and our heavy trekking backpacks all the way up to the homestay. With every curve, the view kept getting more breathtaking. By the time we reached the homestay we could see the entire valley, we felt on top of the world. After a genuine introduction to See and his family, we got the time to install ourselves in our room in privacy. When we were ready, see came to bring us some bottles of water and to tell us the wifi password. They also offered to have us over for dinner with the family, we obviously accepted the offer. After having some drinks with a view that belongs in travel magazines and experiencing one of the most beautiful sunsets of our lives, we went to the main building to have dinner with See and his family. Communication was very charming and genuine and you could really feel the freshness of the ingredients. We got to know some of See's personal life and enjoyed his homemade rice wine together. Dzô! On the second day, after a complimentary vietnamese breakfast, See rented us his motorcycle so we could explore the village and the valley on our own, we felt part of the scenery and people greeted us everywhere. Even though we only booked for one night, See let us use the room the entire day after checkout and finally he contacted the bus company so we could get back to Hanoi comfortably. I cannot state how grateful we were for this experience, I really hope we could come and visit again in the future. 100000000 stars! THANK YOU SEE This was absolutely no problem for us, but for some people it is good to know that you are in the middle of nature so expect some wildlife in and around the bungalow. For us it only made the experience more genuine and the room comes with a bug net so we slept like babies.”
