“Perfect location right on the river with direct access to the promenade and lots of restaurants in walking distance yet still quite. The building has beautiful architecture, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would stay there again. The hotel is a bit dated, though step-by-step renovations are underway. Unfortunately, our large family room was located directly below a room with noisy renovation work. After we complained, we were moved to a smaller room in another wing — but the very next day, noisy renovation started right next door again. It would be much better if renovation work was concentrated in one area of the hotel rather than happening simultaneously in multiple spots. The extreme daytime heat also made it difficult to spend time outside.”
