“Newish fancy super high hotel. We had the 2 bedroom apartment which was very comfortable indeed and the view was amazing. Breakfast was ok for the small part we had. Theres a little mart right at the bottom and down the street there’s more. We were recovering from food poisoning we got from Hanoi so all our excursions were cancelled cause we basically couldn’t leave the room. Super disappointing but that’s the chance you take in the nam. The elevators are SUPER slow and when you do actually get in or out , half of China tries to stampede in before you even move. A vacuum truck was parked out the front both the days we were there pumping an ungodly vile stench cloud everywhere . Not fun. No one there speaks English so after check in you are on your own help wise. Note. Not a positive or negative but this hotel caters for basically 100% Chinese people and it is PACKED .There are no westerners. Breakfast time was an absolute screaming match zoo so wait till at least 9:30 before going there if you value your ears and your sanity. Was glad to leave to be honest.”
