“The hotel has an unstated opulence that has the discerning stayers comfortable that fellow bookers will be quietly confident and unassuming. The reception is clear, clean & crystallised in its shine. Once the room's confirmed and details taken by staff at reception you are offered a welcoming drink. The reception area is spacious aided by significant sized windows to let in as much light as possible. There's also a bar area which allows you to keep one hydrated if waiting for your room to be ready or any other activity yet to happen. The seating area's confortable with enough space between the single chairs not to feel one's private space being invaded. The room itself was the most beautiful and expansive that I've had the pleasure and privilege to stay. I was upgraded. The room defined opulence. It had a 270 degree view which included the open sea and down town. Everything about the room was stupendous including a bath that had a view over yonder. A king size bed which took you onto the balcony. And entering the room you are welcomed by a beautiful, suitably sized sofa, a lovely coffee table, and two single chairs all for entertaining. And, of course, there was a handsome console table. The other side of the same room has a presidental space equipped with shelves a grand table and chair facing a window and door to the balcony. I didn't like the lift being out of sorts for an afternoon, but the staff did their absolute best to minimise the inconvenience of trawling the stairs. On reflection being allowed to check out an hour than the agreed time of 12 pm would have been a nice gesture because significant time was lost traisping the floors by foot. I was in the country for medical reasons so i had reason to want time to leave without being overwhelmed with a scenario outside of my control. Not the ideal mode of movement in a ciyy with 35 degree heat. Again, in fairness to the staff especially to Tinh Ly every effort was made for the engineering failure not to mar my stay. Tinh Ly was attentive and helpful from the moment I checked in until the moment I left to continue my health reasons for being in the country All credit to her.”
