“Breakfast was the only thing that was satisfactory at this location. My confirmation number was 5813197391 for the Hotel Mead, Wisconsin Rapids, WI on July 9, 2026. I am requesting a full refund for this stay, as I had a terrible experience with this hotel. I had to switch rooms 3 times; the 1st was due to non-working air conditioning and a bathroom door that couldn’t open properly as it hit the toilet!; the 2nd was due to a location on the first floor near an exit door that was locked and I was told it was broken and couldn’t be opened!; 3rd was a room with a (temporary?) swamp cooler for an air conditioner, that was duct taped to a piece of cardboard which was duct taped to the window frame, and covered half of the window. The other half of the window was left alone. The inlet/outlet tubing for this air conditioner unit was put through a round cut opening in this cardboard. The actual glass window was left open slightly due to this set up! If there was a storm of any kind, the cardboard would have been soaked! I have pictures of the rooms and door that clearly show the issues I have explained. This was the first time using booking.com, and may be the last if I don’t receive a credit for this experience! I will also contact my credit card company to issue a cancel payment due to these issues! I appreciate your assistance!”
