“Overall, we loved staying at Hotel Wailea and would definitely return. The Highlights: The room was clean, spacious, and quiet, with comfortable beds and pretty much everything we needed for our stay. We loved the low-key, relaxing pool area. Even though the hotel isn't right on the water, the hillside views are beautiful, and the location is very convenient to gorgeous beaches and great dining. The Hiccup: We had no hot water in our shower for the first two days. While the front desk sent maintenance quickly after our first text, the issue wasn't resolved, and our second text went unanswered. It took a visit to the front desk and a second maintenance team to get it fixed. While we understand these things happen, we expected better service—specifically, a follow-up from the staff to ensure the issue was resolved, and perhaps a small gesture acknowledging the inconvenience of taking cold showers and waiting around for repairs.”
