“We chose this hotel as it was close to the church we were having my moms funeral. Our family rented numerous rooms, 3 nights each for the funeral and to spend time with the numerous family that travelled from out of town. EVERY NIGHT the smoke alarms kept going off. There was no staff to deal with this and everytime we fell back asleep AFTER GOING DOWN TO THE FRONT DESK they went off again. The first night it was approx 12 times. No one was called in the middle of the night to figure it out. So the day of the funeral, which I was in charge of arranging, my husband and I were completely exhausted. We had asked to be moved to a different room as apparently this was only affecting a few floors, but told no. We just checked out this morning and complained again and it’s as if it’s no big deal. We paid just under 1000.00 for 3 nights, NOT INCLUDING FOOD!”
