“The outdoor pools and beach area were nice. When we first checked in we were given a condo in Valley View, and it was a dump. It was incredibly outdated and dirty. But the worst part is that is smelled bad. We complained to the front desk and they told us they were aware it smelled, and couldn’t switch us rooms. On day 2, we came back to a new smell… weed!! We had seen a few older gals come off the elevator that smelled the same, and figured they were our neighbors. But by evening the smell was pouring through the vents and we had our two littles with us. I complained and the resort said they’d send security (we never saw or heard them). Complained again 90 mins later, and the hotel said they’d send security and maintenance to check the vent. After no one came again for 30 mins, and it was 10pm, my husband went down angry dad style and got us a new room. The new room was updated / modern and didn’t smell. Horrible start though. And everything outside the golf course generally looks unkept / old. Not worth the price.”
