“Good location. The unit was dirty and poorly cleaned. More importantly, they failed to disclose the lack of air conditioning during a massive heat wave in July. The unit was insufferably hot, almost 90 degrees inside. There was a portable air mover in one room, but it barely worked at all and required us to open the windows to the outside, letting the hot outside air in and defeating the purpose of the unit. They offered to move our entire family to a 1 bedroom unit with central a/c in another building, but we had booked and paid for a 2 bedroom unit and a 1 bedroom would not have been large enough for us. So we had to sleep partly on the outside porch and partly huddled in front of the anemic air mover. Miserable night. When I sought a refund for that one night, the host refused, claiming that their offer of 1 bedroom option somehow would have made me whole. Bottom line: this is a poorly maintained, poorly cleaned unit without air conditioning and an owner who thinks he doesn’t have to provide sufficient air conditioning in the summer and that a 1 bedroom replacement is equivalent to a 2 bedroom. It’s not. STAY AWAY. Rent elsewhere.”
