“There was mold everywhere in the room and the bathroom. The sheets and covers were dirty, stained, smelly, and ripped — the stains looked like they were from some kind of fluid. The AC was so bad it would either blast full power or switch to fan-only, with no in-between. The carpets, both in the room and throughout the hotel, reeked of humidity and mold. The pool is inside the hotel’s main building, and even though it’s an indoor pool, you could clearly smell the chlorine and body odor mixed into the water. On top of all this, there’s a hidden charge that never showed up on Booking.com: an additional $50 per day as a “security deposit.” For a 4-day stay, that’s another $200 you’re not told about and have no visibility into. They claim it’s refundable, but I haven’t received anything back yet. In total, I spent around $700, and I truly regret ever booking this place. This whole experience was a nightmare that nearly cost us our health. I am submitting my emergency room discharge papers along with a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to take this further.
