“I booked with hotel because the other decent hotels in town were full. That won't happen again, I'll stay in Green Bay instead. The only good thing about this place is the front desk guy was great. The rest ends there. Several of the rooms are occupied by fulltime residents. Some to say the least were very shady. I went outside one night and found a guy passed out in the chair wearing shorts and a short sleeve shirt and it was 20 degrees out. Some of his friends must have showed up so he woke up and then proceeded to start sharpening his pocketknife. I can handle myself, but I definitely didn't feel safe at all. The hotel room was pretty gross. The showers didn't work well, not much hot water either. The carpet hadn't been vacuumed in what seemed like months. The furniture in the room was destroyed, and you couldn't sit on any of them. The hotel overall had a weird smell to it. If you're coming to Shawano, I recommend staying someplace else. You'll be happy you did!”
