“What a lovely hotel and a super stay. It's at the end of the Main Street in Saratoga, so close to lots of shopping, bars and restaurants, a great place to base yourself. It is an old hotel with a lot of the original fixtures and fittings which of course is its charm. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and super efficient. They have a bar and restaurant and they do a very reasonable breakfast buffet which is lovely. The room was very clean and quite large with two double beds. It was very comfy indeed with a/c (not sure what it would have been like in the 1800's without it?) Bear in mind though it is not a modern hotel, the floors, and rooms are very much from the time it was built with updates as time has gone on. But again it what makes the hotel the find it is. There is free on site parking as well. We ate in the town so didn't try the restaurant but the bar is very nice and they had a singer/guitarist on when we stayed. I would definitely stay again and in fact wished we were staying more than the one night that we did.”
