“I cannot tell you what an incredible blessing it was for my daughter and I to have stayed at the Detroit Airport Westin! We had already taken off from Detroit to our destination when our plane was turned back to Detroit for mechanical issues. The flight was subsequently delayed overnight and we found ourselves scrambling to make quick decisions about where to stay. I had remembered walking past the Westin in the terminal, so we got on the Marriott app, booked a room, and walked down the terminal to our room. It was amazing! We got a great night sleep and were able to maximize our sleep since all we had to do in the morning is walk out the hotel doors to our own TSA Pre-check right in the terminal where our gate was assigned. The rooms were lovely. The bed was comfortable and the ambiance was sophisticated and calming. While I hope we don’t have to return to this hotel for similar reasons in the future, I would not hesitate to stay here again and again!”
