“I stayed here several times, always hoping that my last experience was just a bad one. Lets start with the $25 resort fee that basically covers nothing, but since they attached a "resort" sticker to the door then that allows them to charge a "resort" fee. Then the $25 self parking way out in a deserted parking lot, not even under cover to protect from the extreme sun and rain. The "Elite" check-in line has cobwebs because there is nobody ever there. When you finally do check in, because the front desk is perennially understaffed, there is no elite member recognition, you have to remind the staff that you get a elite member benefit. The front desk definitively needs help. This is really a shame because the grounds are beautiful and with minimal additional effort this should be a flagship resort. Yes its old but they did a a minor upgrade in the last few years to make it look better. And the (underused) amenities are fantastic. The only bright spots are the breakfast restaurant staff who have been there for years and even though also very understaffed do their best to provide good servies (but not so the food, which is only a step above a free breakfast you would get at a marriott springfield, fairifield or residence inn, suits - but is $30 a person). The pool staff is also very friendly. This time the tub in our room did not drain and its not the healthiest thing to have dirty standing water in the tub. I hope the new owners read some of reviews and make an effort to bring this property back to its glory and make it a compelling place to go”
