“The Walker Greenwich Village is located in the perfect location. It’s walking distance to great restaurants and shops. The style of the hotel is beautiful but call ahead to inquire when the lobby construction will be done as it is a bit of an eye sore at the moment. The staff are alll super helpful and friendly. We happen to travel during FIFA week so the rates were a little higher but it was the case with all other hotels in the city and in the end we felt the value was fair. We were upgraded to the 17th floor and had a King bed and our room had enough day light and felt spacious. The bathrooms are tight without much counter space, but again that is standard for many boutique hotels in the city, so we were able to adjust as needed. There is 1 armoire & 3 tiny drawers, so if you’re sharing a room, you’ll have to split the closet. We would definitely return when we want a hotel that has a great location, warm feeling and good value.”
