“We booked the Royalton Park Avenue very late on a Sunday night during the February snowstorm after British Airways effectively left us stranded with no where to stay when flight had to be cancelled after 3 hours on runway . Arriving at around 10:30pm, with much of New York feeling like a ghost town, we were greeted by staff who were exceptionally welcoming, professional, and reassuring at what could have been a very stressful time. The hotel became the perfect refuge while we waited out two snowbound days in the city. We had room service that night and it was perfect and so well received after the chaos of trying to get back to Manhattan and to hotel in the snow. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped, and every member of staff we encountered was genuinely kind and helpful. One of the highlights was enjoying coffee at the rooftop bar while taking in the snowy New York skyline. Despite the challenging weather, the hotel provided a warm, relaxing, and memorable experience. This was actually our second stay at the Royalton Park Avenue, having previously visited during a Christmas trip in 2024. Consistently excellent service, comfortable accommodation, excellent food, and a fantastic location make this a hotel we would highly recommend to anyone visiting New York. We look forward to returning again.”
