“The hotel was very well located, walking distance to the Canal St. Sreetcar line, buses and the French Quarter. The room and bathroom were large and the beds were comfortable; however, the furniture and fixtures in the room have seen better days. Complimentary coffee and tea were available at reception every morning, as well as bags of ice upon request. The restaurants were closed, as advertised, but it did lend to a dreary feeling in the reception and lobby area and the hotel felt like it was operating in a "closing down" mode. A great discovery was a nearby convenience store, where you could get breakfast, water, juice, snacks, etc at good prices.”
