“I arrived at Maison Dupuy in New Orleans on March 23, 2026, in the mid-afternoon. The staff were welcoming, and I asked for a quiet room with a nice view. I was given Room 312 on the 3rd floor. The room had a beautiful view of the hotel's traditional restored courtyard, with trees and a pool below. It was fairly large and featured French doors leading to a balcony overlooking the courtyard. The room had a large bed, a flat-screen TV, and a nice bathroom. The décor was traditional, attractive, clean, and comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent, with the room serviced each day. I left daily tips and an additional tip on my last day. The hotel was perfectly situated in the French Quarter on Toulouse Street, yet on a quiet section of the street. It was easy to walk to Bourbon Street, St. Louis Cathedral, and Canal Street. After spending the day exploring New Orleans and visiting the many attractions, it was always nice to return to an excellent traditional hotel and a comfortable room. The entire vacation experience was wonderful, and I enjoyed seeing the sights, including excursions to Oak Alley Plantation, the Garden District, and Tulane University. The front desk gave terrific advice for sights and tours, especially C. Herbert. The weather in New Orleans was in the low 80s, with plenty of sunshine. The vegetation was beautiful, especially in Audubon Park. Many beautiful pictures and lasting memories were made during this outstanding vacation.”
