“Better than expected. When we saw a rating of only 3 out of 5 we were cautious, but after reading reviews we decided to give it a try as most of the negative reviews were a few years ago before a remodel was completed. So glad we did!! The parking lot is gated and you get a code when you check in. That immediately gave us some peace of mind as this was just a stop over on our way to our destination and we didn’t want to unload everything from the car. The hotel was SPOTLESS!! Our room was very comfortable, bigger than expected with a larger than normal fridge that had a freezer that was actually functional. I was able to unload our entire cooler into the fridge and refreeze the ice I had. The bed was very comfortable with a variety of pillows to choose from. The only thing a little odd was the sink vanity area was in a different room than the actual bathroom so no sink right there in the bathroom to wash your hands. Not a big deal just a little odd. We didn’t eat breakfast, but it looked like there was a better than average variety with both hot and traditional cold choices. All the staff I encountered were pleasant and very helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, in fact I would seek it out.”
