“We stayed at the Holiday Inn Louisville East - Hurstbourne expecting a clean and comfortable room, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. When we arrived, the hotel was dated and had an unpleasant odor. The room felt damp. The sheets and carpet were noticeably damp to the touch, and there was a musty odor that made the room uncomfortable. We reported the issue to the front desk. They offered to change the sheets, but that didn’t address the damp carpet or the smell throughout the room. We were hoping for either a different room or another solution since the condition of the room affected our stay. There were no other rooms available and they would not provide a room at another IHG hotel.”
