“Overall, the stay was wonderful. The room was spacious. the view to the lake and mountains was outstanding. The decorations were fabulous. The food in The View for breakfast and The Cottage for dinner was pretty good, although the buffet breakfast items were cold. Also, I couldn't use the buffet because there are a couple of stairs without a handrail to get from the seating area (I use a cane and need a handrail if I am carrying something.) The big problem was checking in. They have a sign for "registration" that leads to a door that is a floor down from the actual registration desk and on a narrow drive with signs that say, "no parking" and "don't block the drive" both of which people were doing when we arrived. My husband had to go in to discover that we were supposed to take the main drive up to the parking areas. They need to move the sign for registration to the correct location. Nigel in The View and the housekeeper for the third floor in the Terrace were exceptionally friendly. I couldn't take a shower because the safety bar for the tub was located on the left side of the faucet controls, not on the back wall like it usually is. My husband said the tub was slippery.”
