“We really enjoyed how peaceful it was. It was perfect for us. A little dated on the exterior but the interior was clean and had plenty of room for the 3 of us. Kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of utensils, pots, pans, glassware, plates, full block of knives and even a wine opener and pizza wheel. Grocery stores are a short drive if you want to stay in and make your own meals. Small grills outside also. The white tail deer are amazing, and we saw plenty of them. Fawns, does and bucks. Some bucks still in velvet during our visit. Fredericksburg is a 2-hour drive for the wine enthusiasts. Lockhart is 1 hr. 15-minute drive for the BBQ enthusiasts. ”
