“It is impossible to overstate just how wonderful an experience we had at the Grand Hyatt. The staff were amazing, the food and beverage experiences are excellent, and the facility, while needing some upgrades in spots, still remains the finest resort on the island for any type of gathering. Even the staff at Ilima Terrace, a breakfast buffet were engaging, friendly and great at interacting with the guests. It's obvious that staff performance and enhancement of the guest experience at a very large hotel/resort are job one with management, and they're to be commended for doing it extremely well. My wife and I were not previously very interested in the "sushi" dining experience, but the outstanding food and service at Stevenson's Lounge made us into sushi savants. There is no finer bar service in Hawaii than that at Stevenson's in our experience, and that covers some 11 or 12 trips (including several to the Grand Hyatt). Also, for a large resort style facility, the food at every venue is excellent. Even the pool food at Hale Nalu is quite good, and the servers/runners delivering there are simply some of the best you will ever experience. We can't wait to return!”
