“I preface this by saying I'm not very fussy when it comes to hotels. Price is good, location is excellent. Easy to get on a free bus to go to the two main lift areas. This is why the review gets two stars instead of one. I slept fine - it was quiet and the room was OK - the bed and bedding seemed fairly new and were very clean. The carpet was worn throughout the room and hallways, and the furnishings in the room were adequate but dated. Hotel service is very poor. Staffing at front desk is very, very limited and they don't answer the phone. The staff member I encountered was very nice and attentive given his broad responsibilities. He was the limited desk person, but mostly doing room servicing, therefore unavailable except limited hours at the desk. The sink, toilet and tub in my room seemed to be in fine shape, reasonably recently updated, but some (not all) of the towels were threadbare and the ancient toilet paper roll holder came out of the wall and the even more ancient bathroom fan was not covered (exposed fan blades) and was screeching loudly. I could not use the laundry facility because the change machine was broken during my entire 3 night stay in spite of the staff member (when I saw him, not at the desk, but in the hall cleaning rooms) assuring me it would be repaired by the management within a couple hours of my arrival. There was nowhere to get change nearby that I could find. I noticed that one of the two dryers was inoperable.”
