“The location. Multiple Service Failures During Stay 7/1/26 - 7/4/26 I requested a refund for the last night of my stay due to the numerous issues and service failures my fiancé and I experienced from the moment we checked in. First, the telephone in our room never worked. Although an engineer was reportedly scheduled to repair it, no one ever came. As a result, I was forced to repeatedly travel between our room on the 7th floor and the front desk whenever assistance was needed. On one occasion, I called from my personal cell phone and spoke with Yola, who assured me that water would be delivered to our room. Unfortunately, neither the water nor other requested items, such as towels, were ever delivered. The most serious issue occurred late in the evening when I discovered a large cockroach crawling across the floor of our room. Around 10:15 p.m., I went to the front desk and requested that the room be cleaned and disinfected with Clorox and that the bed linens be replaced. I was told a housekeeper would come immediately. But cleaned linen was not available. While my fiancé remained in the room waiting, I stayed at the bar. By 11:30 p.m., no one had arrived. I returned to the front desk and spoke with an employee who refused to provide her name, stating only that it began with the letter "D." She informed me there were no notes regarding my earlier request or any of the issues with Room 1714. Her demeanor was dismissive and condescending, and she appeared unconcerned about resolving the situation. During our conversation, she abruptly stopped assisting me to help another guest who was standing extremely close to me, despite my expressing discomfort. I was later informed that security had already spoken to this individual twice regarding inappropriate behavior, making me feel unsafe. There were also several other guests visibly upset and voicing complaints during this time. Fortunately, Manager Nicholas intervened after seeing how distressed I was.”
