“Nothing! My stay at Renaissance New York Newark Airport Hotel was extremely disappointing, and I would not choose this hotel again. The cleanliness of the hotel was well below the standard I expected from the Renaissance brand. The overall condition of the property did not reflect the quality that guests should reasonably expect. The biggest issue, however, was the staff. I sent a request through Booking.com two weeks before my arrival, but it was ignored for a long time before I eventually received only a brief, unhelpful reply. I followed up with another message and never received a response. This level of communication is simply unacceptable. Unfortunately, the experience at the front desk was no better. The staff showed very little willingness to assist and lacked the professionalism and customer service skills expected when dealing with guests. Another downside was the layout of the hotel. For an airport hotel, convenience is essential, yet my room was located a very long distance from the reception. After traveling, the last thing guests want is a lengthy walk through a large property just to reach their room. Overall, this stay fell far below my expectations. Between the poor cleanliness, the lack of communication, the unhelpful front desk staff, and the inconvenient layout, I left very dissatisfied and would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.”
