“We had such a wonderful stay! We rented a cottage that was connected to another family’s unit, but it was incredibly quiet—we hardly knew anyone else was there. The property has so much open space surrounding the cottages, making it feel peaceful and immersed in nature. There are beautiful woods behind the cabins and a large open field in the center where my kids loved running around and playing safely. The pool was just a short two-minute walk away and was perfect for families. It has a nice shallow area for toddlers as well as a kiddie pool, which my little ones absolutely loved. The staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, and positive throughout our stay. They even accommodated an early check-in, which we really appreciated. The on-site restaurant served delicious, high-quality food, and the location was ideal. It was just a short drive to both Mount Airy Casino and Skytop Lodge, where we enjoyed the Fourth of July fireworks. One of the highlights of our trip was the resort’s own Fourth of July celebration. The staff put on a beautiful fireworks show right on the property for all the guests. They also hosted a complimentary picnic with hot dogs, hamburgers, all the fixings, beverages, and ice cream. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our holiday feel extra special. Could use some more umbrellas around the pool.”
