“The hotel itself is newly renovated/modern decor in very nice shape and kept very clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly, particularly front desk and both waitresses at breakfast. We loved being able to eat in the outside courtyard for breakfast and appreciated the corn hole and Connect 4 games for the kids. The beds were comfortable with a nice choice of pillows, the temperature in the room easy to control, the bathroom beautiful with plenty of space for family of 4, and the gym was fantastic. We loved being able to walk to Trillium brewery next door, but the food at the hotel was also good and we were glad for the easy late night option. The woods across from the hotel were lovely to walk in, overall great experience. The pool was very chlorinated, so it was unpleasant to be in the pool area, and the pool itself cloudy with chemicals. The fridge in the room was pretty useless because could only be turned on for 2 hours at a time, so could not stay cold. That was really frustrating.”
