“Location was ok As someone who is really low maintenance, it’s kind of hard to make me feel like I’m in a bad place. I got to the hotel at 10:20. The lobby desk had a gate closed with nobody in sight. On the wall, it said to use the pay phone to call a worker. I called three times with no answer. On the fourth call, a lady answered and said somebody would be down shortly. Fifteen minutes went by, so I called again with no answer. As I was making the second call, a guy in basketball shorts and a tank top opened the closed lobby and jumped over the counter. He checked me into Room 110. I went to the car, grabbed my things, and headed to the room, but the key didn’t work. He made another key, and it still didn’t work. He said, “I gotta book you another room.” He switched me to Room 330. I went upstairs, and that key didn’t work either. I went back downstairs, he made another key, and it finally worked. I walked into the room, and it was decent. Then I looked at the bed… no pillows. At that point, I honestly thought I was getting punk’d. I just laughed, made a pillow out of my T-shirt, and went to bed. I hate to trash a business because I know how hard it is, especially as a business owner myself, but Jesus Christ… please do better, guys.”
