“when we were checking in ismail told us that there was something wrong with the air conditioning in our room. he therefore took us to another hotel, which was a bit more expensive and said that we could stay there for the same price if we wanted. we thought that air conditioning is good to have in Zanzibar, so we accepted the offer. therefore unfortunately I can't say much about nungwi beach front hotel. but I was in contact with ismael during the whole stay and he arranged several trips for us. he was not fussy and was going to sell hundreds of things, but was very helpful when I contacted him. would recommend the hotel even if I didn't stay there, just because the owner was superb. and by the way. the hotel looked good from the outside and was right on a fantastic beach”
