“Very pleased with location. 200 meteres to local and tourist day trip Bus station and to the nearby Visitior Infoirmation Centre with helpful English speaking staff. Local night food market less than 100 meters away (but check which night open). Plenty of other local food outlets around. Really easy to walk around the downtown and discover the many funky coffee shops and local food shops. For example, oyster noodles for 75 NTD. Fabulous!! Take the local tourist day or half day, tourist bus trips. Enchanting to base from Taitung for several days. The hotel team polite, engaging and typically taiwanese, super helpful. Rubber shower mat provided in the shower, daily room clean and chinese style buffet breakfast offerings including some local fresh fruit. 24 hr laundromat around corner 50 meters from hotel. Room cleaning was delayed one day. Inform reception to ensure a suitable time for room cleaning. However, room cleaning service is excellent”
