“I had a wonderful stay at Mihrumah Konağı. The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and Suleiman, who runs the place, truly went above and beyond to accommodate us. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and full of character, and the courtyard was a lovely place to relax — we often sat there enjoying a Turkish coffee or tea. The breakfast was generous and delicious, and one evening they even had traditional music, which created a really nice and authentic atmosphere. The location is also excellent: right in the centre of the old town and close to the market. These things didn’t bother me personally, but they’re good to know for future guests. In the evenings, it can be loud, as this hotel or others nearby sometimes play traditional music. This is very normal for the area and part of the local atmosphere — but otherwise it was quiet during the day. Also, because the hotel is in a historic neighbourhood with narrow streets, cars can’t drive all the way to the entrance. You need to walk a short distance from the car park to the hotel — not a big issue, but something to keep in mind if you have heavy luggage.”
