“The good stuff: the people who work at this hotel are so lovely and friendly. The place was spotless. They let me leave my luggage for 2 days while I was traveling elsewhere, and were so gracious and generous. The location can’t be beat—it’s centrally located to almost everything on the European side, and so walkable! The downsides: the hotel is in the middle of a very bustling night scene and directly over a wine bar. The rooms are filled with smoke in the evenings as a result. It is impossible to escape, even with the air conditioning on. Unfortunately, the bed is also quite uncomfortable, and the water in the shower never gets above warm. I think this place has the opportunity to become really great with a little more investment, focusing on quality over aesthetic, but I wouldn’t change a thing about the staff. ”
