“I thoroughly enjoyed my six-night stay at Dekalb Hotel. Although my original room had a less desirable view, the staff kindly upgraded me to a room overlooking the Bosporus Strait, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Every employee was friendly and helpful, with a special thank you to Nagehan and Kerem who always welcomed me with a smile and friendly conversation. As a solo traveler, I greatly appreciated their kindness and warm hospitality. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious with an excellent shower. The location is outstanding—less than five minutes to the ferry terminal, close to transit, and within walking distance of countless restaurants and shops. The traditional Turkish breakfast at the hotel was delicious! Overall, I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend Dekalb Hotel. Lighting in bathroom needs to be improved, it was too dark for applying makeup. Occasional loud music from nearby bar.”
