“Basically, only the location. And maybe a couple of staff at the reception that were friendly and helpful. Avoid the place at all cost. Here is why. 1. I was given room 3501 where I was severely bitten by bed bugs. It is unthinkable that hotel can’t ensure proper basic hygiene standards. It is Turkey, modern country with access to all necessary means to do so. I caught one of the bugs and brought to reception, and I was given another room, luckily without bugs. 2. Me, my sister and my nephew had food poisoning after eating at the hotel. Later we spoke to two more guests who also had it. Moreover, one of the hotel staff in charge of hammam approached us trying to sell his services. We declined his proposal to buy smth from him saying we are not feeling well. He said: “oh are you throwing up and having diarrhea like everyone else?”. The audacity of this personage left us speechless. So it is a well known fact among the hotel staff that the hygiene standards are poor. 3. There were cockroaches in the restaurant in plain daylight. No one cared. 4. Rooms are old, shabby, not cleaned well, with surfaces covered with stains. Beds mattresses and pillows are firm. 5. There was a compliment bottle of water in the room, which was essentially a reused and refilled bottle. Thanks god I noticed that before drinking.”
