“We stayed for 14 nights at the Mayflower and loved our time there. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The manager, Sevket, was exceptionally nice, efficient and professional when needed. The hotel was superb too, very clean and spacious. We dined in the restaurant a couple of nights. The food was very good and prices were reasonable. Beer was cheaper here than at most of the local bars. The walk to the beach was under 15 minutes. The hotel is in a good location and it is easy to walk about as there were no hills. Unless you wanted to visit the castle which is at the top of a large hill. There is a cable car which takes you to the castle, one price for Turkish people, all others pay three times as much. I recommend going to see the castle by bus, 60 lira. There is a 12 Euro charge to go inside the castle. The beach was nice and sandy but be careful going for a swim as there are rocks under the water making it difficult to walk into the sea.”
