“A hidden gem that feels like a different world I honestly can’t recommend Nonnita Boutique Resort enough. If you’re looking for a place with a real soul, this is it. It’s a total escape from the usual touristy buzz of Phuket—to be honest, it felt much more like being in Northern Thailand because of how local, quiet, and genuinely kind everyone was. The owner, Judy, has created an absolute paradise. Her garden is like stepping into another world; it’s so lush and full of life. We loved seeing all the animals running around, from rabbits and chickens to turtles and even buffaloes. It’s the perfect spot for families or anyone who just wants to clear their head. The absolute highlight of my stay (and the best way to end my entire trip) was the cooking class with Judy. It wasn't just a lesson; we went into the garden together to pick fresh ingredients for our meal. Judy is amazing—she explained everything so well, and it felt like I was just cooking with a friend. The staff here are so helpful and warm that we felt like we were staying at home rather than in a hotel. As a parting gift, Judy even gave me a beautiful hand-woven straw bag made from plants right there in the garden. It’s those little personal touches that make this place so special. It's a bit out of the city center, which I prefer, but someone may not. We used a motorcycle to travel around.”
