“Wouldn't recommend this hotel. Room was very grotty, marks all overs the walls and stains also. It's up a fairly steep hill so if you struggle with walking at elevation I wouldn't recommend. Upon arrival I was told they required a 3000 baht security deposit and that they would only accept cash. Pretty annoying for this not to have been advised prior as I would have ensured I had the necessary cash on me, no explanation was provided for why they wouldn't accept a card transaction like every other hotel does. Missed out on a tax-free purchase because they were holding my physical passport until I could go to an ATM to withdraw the cash. Breakfast is pretty bad, only had basic coffee machines and pastries were stale. Quite a limited selection. Bed is very creaky, I woke up multiple times from the noise. The pool is good but slightly annoying that there is no way to order drinks or food to a poolside table like every other hotel. Other guests were very noisy so I'm glad I was only there for a few nights. Hotel is pretty but that's about the only redeeming factor. Cleanliness, staff attitudes.”
