“I stayed at the Hive Hotel in November for 4 days. The hotel is charming with chalet buildings set in tree lined gardens. I had a room with a balcony. The room was very clean and modern. The bed was very firm but I still got a good nights sleep. The AC is very efficient. The staff at Reception were very friendly, very helpful and well organised. The buffet style breakfast was excellent. I opted for the cooked breakfast, egg, toast, mushrooms, and cooked tomatoes. I didn't use the pool as it was raining most of the time, but it looked very nice. The buffet restaurant looks over Lamai beach. The beach is superb, very clean with beautiful sands and crashing waves. Hin Ta and Hin Yai granite rock formations are a short walk. Massages are available along the beach. Motorbike hire, restaurants and bars are close by. Wat Ratchathammaram temple is very near and well worth a visit. I would love to return in the future.”
