“Room was quite small but had plenty of surfaces for spreading out. Decent lighting for reading. I asked the staff for an extra pillow and they immediately brought one, also they very quickly booked us a taxi. The property has a lovely rooftop bar with an excellent view of the canal (as well as the incoming flights to the airport). We spent a pleasant hour there around dusk. Also very close to our favorite Thai restaurant in that neighborhood (the Kota Cafe, highly recommended!) Maintenance could have been better. The deadbolt did not work (couldn't double lock the door) and the balcony sliding door would not stay closed if you were out on the balcony. The shower water temperature was pretty hard to control. Bed was hard though that's better than being soft. Breakfast was indifferent, though the setting (also on the roof) was attractive. Somebody in the neighborhood had a very noisy flock of geese! Though we can't blame the hotel for that...”
