Kaw Kwang Beach Resort

This beach resort is located at the northern tip of 3 km-long Klong Dao Beach. This white sandy beach is the finest on Koh Lanta and is just a few minutes' walk from the resort. The resort is situated only 1.5 km from Saladan, which is the main shopping area on Koh Lanta. This resort was the first one built on Koh Lanta and has been managed by the same local family since ever. This club resort offers a total of 61 rooms. Facilities include air conditioning, a lobby and a hotel safe. All rooms are furnished with a king-size bed, twin bed and have a fan. The deluxe rooms offer a satellite TV and a fridge. Suites are also available for families. All accommodation units are en suite with a shower and bath. Further in-room amenities include Internet access, a safe, minibar and a balcony or terrace. The resort features shady lawns and a large swimming pool to enjoy and relax. It is the only resort on Lanta that has a coral reef right in front of the beach for snorkelling. Guests can also enjoy a massage (for a fee) or play beach volleyball. The resort serves a breakfast buffet and both lunch and dinner à la carte. From Krabi by micro-bus: This leaves from Thanan Tour opposite the City Hotel in Krabi Town, and the service operates 3 times a day and takes about 2 hours. Guests will be transported to Koh Lanta Noi by the motor ferry and again to Koh Lanta Yai which is very convenient for tourists who would prefer not to board the public boat. By public boat: Boarding at Chao Fah Pier in Krabi Town, the service operates twice a day, in the morning and afternoon, and takes about 2 hours 30 minutes. The service runs from November to May each year. From Trang: Take the micro-bus of K.K Travel and Tour behind Trang Railway Station which takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes (3-5 times a day).
