“An architecturally stunning hotel, surrounded by lush greenery. The pool is very large and spacious. The beach is beautiful, the sea is calm. The beach is always very quiet. The hotel breakfast was a highlight. Absolutely everything you could think of!! Salads, cheese, fresh fruits, hot dishes, egg station, breads, pastries and dim sum. All presented beautifully and super fresh. One improvement I would make would be the coffee. An automatic machine, average coffee. I was also really looking forward to going to their beautiful cafe. The decor was gorgeous, but the lady didn’t know how to make barista quality coffee, so I only went once. The location was great. Half an hour from the ferry. Walk out the hotel and there are shops and restaurants 5 mins away and a half an hour walk to Kai Bae, where there are shops, restaurants, cafes and massage salons. I think the arrival process could also be improved, we sat at reception and had lots of paperwork to sign, which was a bit overwhelming after a long journey. It would have been better to have been greeted on the comfy chairs, with a cold tropical drink and a cold towel, with less paperwork. Yes I would recommend this gorgeous hotel.”
