“Location is excellent. Staff that took us to and from our villa were wonderful. The pool staff was nice and kept us informed about our ride back to the villa since it was taking a very long time. The staff also notified us of dogs that stealing shoes which was helpful. Being very close to the gate to the beach was nice. This side of the beach was nicer than going forget south. The beds are horrible. AC wasn't working properly in the room, filters were full of grime and bugs. The shower drain doesn't drain properly and creates a musty smell in the bathroom. The kitchenette sink faucet is loose and leaks. The grounds near the lobby are nice but the rest look like a jungle, needs to be manicured near the villas, and there's a lot of dead grass. The buffet was mid, not as sanitary as I would have liked the way their set up is. And there are a lot of flies flying on and around food. They only gave 2 flat pillows per king bed. When asked for additional pillows they want to charge per pillow!!!! When I went to visit a family member in their suite near the lobby, they had 4 pillows on their king bed and said that's how it was. You're paying more for the villas but I would avoid them next time. Not worth the extra money. Stick with the main hotel rooms, they're probably better. The pool was outdated and in need of repair. I would not say that the kid area is very kid safe although kid friendly. Umbrella was broken and drinks sold there are not very cold. No alcoholic beverages sold by the pool.”
