“A modest guesthouse located in an uninteresting neighborhood; the nearest “attraction” is a McDonald's just a few minutes' walk away. You'll need to take an Uber to the city center; the ride takes 15–20 minutes and costs $3–4. A rather run-down place, not very clean, with a poorly furnished room. The room did not have the amenities that were listed in the booking offer! The main issue is: 1. there's no refrigerator, which is a major drawback given the temperatures in El Salvador. 2. no tea or coffee making set 3. no microwave 4. no safe (supposedly there is one at the front desk but not in the room as advertised) All of these items are explicitly listed in the room description - so I paid for them, but they weren't there. Decent breakfasts (7:30–9:30) One of the positives is the manager - a very friendly and helpful person who speaks English well. The rest of the staff speaks only Spanish, which sometimes led to language misunderstandings. Good AC and Wi-Fi. The room description and photos do not match reality. I believe that either you should deliver what was promised in the offer, or simply not offer it at all so as not to mislead guests.”
