“After a gruff taxi ride from the airport b/c our luggage took too long to come off the plane, we had a welcomed surprise arriving at April 1550 with a warm greeting and attentive staff serving us wonderful coffees in the courtyard soon after! That they were also flexible enough to honor a late room request added to our relief that our stay in Ljubljana and April 1550 specifically was well chosen and as advertised! The beds were comfortable and the breakfast buffet was much more than we expected, just lovely. The location was convenient and the restaurant suggestion for nearby pizza was excellent! Going above and beyond Natasa reached out to us quickly when they found I had forgotten something in the room and we were able to circle back to retrieve it and have another lovely conversation with her. We can't say enough good things about our stay and will refer all friends and family :-) That we couldn't stay another night!”
