“I booked 2 rooms at Oxley Thanksgiving for 10 days for my large family during a recent home renovation and it was a very pleasant stay. The location is excellent and close to many eateries and malls (313 Somerset, Plaza Singapura, UE square) with 10 min walk to Somerset and 12 min to Dhoby Ghaut. Beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious and equipped with the basic amenities, kitchenette with induction cooker, essential cooking utensils, washing machine (even washing detergent was provided) enough to make an extended stay comfortable and convenient for a family. We also liked that there is a dedicated space with tables and powerpoints to do work, and a nice lobby to sit, relax and drink coffee (there is a Starbucks machine for guests to buy coffee) with beautiful lounge music. There is a small but well-shaded swimming pool and a good functional gym. Parking was complimentary for guests so it was really convenient for us. Cleaning was every 4 days but the housekeeper did a good job, even helping to tidy our things in the room. More importantly, the staff were lovely. Shout-outs to Manpreet and Caden who were friendly, efficient and ever so helpful in everything and manager Nicole who was so kind to extend checkout for 1 room when it was possible. There was a lovely rooftop garden to look out to the surrounding area and it is a bit of wasted opportunity when guests cannot access after 7pm. It will be great if room slippers can be provided for guests.”
